Wow, just wow...

So the last time I did miniatures I was a game store co-owner and had a lot of resources at hand that most people might not (not to mention being only 80 miles from Games Workshop), but that was in 1994, and doing things online just really didn't exist except for BBS systems and email.

My two co-pushers in my new endeavor (or SQUIRREL! as my wife calls my hobbies) are most definitely Amazon.com and Ebay. I've already found the base sets I need to start my army off on the right foot on Amazon, and then found the modification mecca on Ebay, finding parts and bits, out of print pieces, and damn near anything else I could want (including some beautiful, but very expensive pre-painted pieces).

So winging their way to me via Amazon and Games Workshop are the following:

2x Space Wolves Battlepacks
3x Space Marine Speeders
2x Space Marine Rhino
1x Space Marine Razorback
1x Space Wolves Captain
1x Lukas the Trickster
1x Space Wolves Standard Bearer
1x Space Marines Scouts w/ Sniper Rifles (will need to modify)
1x Space Marines Devastator Squad (will need to modify)
1x Space Wolves Wolf Guard Terminators

I drooled on a few more things (I'd love a dreadnaught), but I won't go too nuts right off the bat, we can always add more later (and my birthday is coming!). I'll dig around on how to modify the two packs that I need, and work on points allocating and whatnot before they arrive to make assembly and whatnot easier.
